Tesla Model S P100 Black Pack Dechrome
Style and personalisation, no matter what the model, powertrain, country or colour, personal style will always be present. The want to be different, the want to be individual and let’s face it the want to show off a little. Some of the Model X’s retail for £90,000 so of course show it off!!! Our question, for all their futurism why do they still insist on vast amounts of chrome?!?!
Founded in 2013, Tesla is a technology and powertrain company. With nearly 800,000 cars now on the road, Tesla are now achieving what many thought to be impossible – commercial use of the electric car.
The introduction of the new and affordable Model 3 has seen more consumers attracted to the electric brand, and with government tax incentives it is becoming a no brainer. The technology packed inside a Model 3 is enough to make any of the premium brands looks rather dated and behind the times.
An argument that could be made against the electric brand is the cars all look a little similar. The only notable difference between some of the models is a badge and some 20-inch wheels. However, considering the blistering performance the cars deliver, this is hardly anything to really complain about!
Our question: for all their futurism, why do they still insist on vast amounts of chrome?!?!
Style and personalisation, no matter what the model, powertrain, country or colour, will always be about your personal statement. The desire to be different, to be individual and let’s face it the want to show it off a little!
This Model S P100D is ballistic, with a 0 – 60 time of 2.3 seconds it is fast enough to leave pretty much everything standing, it just doesn’t have the looks to match some of its AMG, and M Power rivals. We at Mulgari believe that some of the best styling has that OEM+ look; nothing too shouty, more tailored and that head turning factor.
30 individual pieces of chrome are removed in one of our trademark “Black-Packs”. Everything from rear lights and boot grab, through to full strip-down of the doors to get to the chrome handles. Everything is removed by our skilled Hybrid trained technicians to ensure a seamless finish. Completed with a mixture of gloss and satin finishes all the chrome is deleted and you could argue the Model S now looks like a P100D.
